Strawberry strawberry strawberry! It's strawberry season, which means two steps each year: 1, we are glad we can eat this amazing fruit 2, we are freaking out what to do with all those strawberries.
My grandma has a lot in her garden, and these days my parents get home with bins of strawberries every day. My mother already made a lot of jam, and I use strawberry wherever I can: I made shake, smoothie, soup and this cake.
This is very very easy and quick: I made it some days before my exam and didnt have lot of time. One bowl is enough! :)
And I finally made gifs! Not the bests but these are the first ones. I do not have recording on my camera, so I did stop motion.
60 g butter
65 ml sour creme
85 g sugar + 2 tbs vanila sugar
125 g flour
1/4 ts baking powder
a pinch of bicarbonate of soda
With an electric hand mixer, mix the butter with the sugar. Add the egg, then the sour cream and beat it until pale. Add the rest of the ingredients.
Cover a cake form with butter, and stir the mixture in. Drop the strawberries to the top.
Bake on 180 C for 30-40 minutes.
